shiiiit - big day!!

so I just laid an mpc4000 (4studio) and Mpc1000 (4gigging) on my credit card - a bit nervous about that!! But the 2000xl changed how i make music so I gotta take the risk... gonna be very strange getting two new machine on the same day!

I'd like to sell the 2000xl asap but I'm worriied about the compatibilty of all my 2000xl program,sequences and APS files - can I import them easily to the MPC4000 and 1000?? They are all wavs... anybody know? I guess the filters/fx will sound different on both machines...

I wonder will I ever be able to hang my mfc42 above the 1000?maybe they are making another overpriced kit?

Congrats on your purchases...albeit they are redundant. We got a flight case built for our MPC 4000 right here in Toronto and it only cost us $300 CDN. If we have to hit the road we pack up the 4K and bounce. You should have looked for alternatives and saved your money.

nah, seriously I know what I'm doing with the 1000, I do a lot of small gigs around europe just two of us with no car and lot of gear - plus my back ain't so good (old man). Even the MPC2000xl has been too heavy with all my other shit, the 4000 would be nightmare:

maybe a nord micro if I can sneak it in

amazing possibilties with all of that!

Let me know how you like the 1000. I have some people buggin me with questions about it...I don't have any experience with it.
