SCI Drumtraks

I had it for a while and rarely used it ( the sounds are classic but you get bored fast until you're into 80 's synthetic pop revival ) .Yesterday looking at it i noticed that the drumpads are the same as the sp 1200 and i remembered that it was midi ( you can see that the guys of sci created midi because it is well implemented when you consider her age ) and that each pad transmit notes .I just plugged my good old Emu E64 ( i sampled some 16 khz drums ) , well i had too change all the numeric tactswitches first ( pain in the ### ) .The sequencer really rocks !!!! Instant old school swing ( like midi messages are somewhat random ) .
These stuffs are cheap if you find one go for it !!!!!!

I used to have a Drumtraks.
I really liked it. I sampled it up and down before I sold it.
I love its DMX-ish clap sound.
