Star Wars 45's

I was diggin through some old boxes of my gi joes and found some star wars's 45's great movie clips!!!!

i got one i had as a kid and i use it as a stencile for a graff project and the other side is beat to hell. i could kik myself for doin that..

One of my friends brought over a stars wars record for our dj to scratch at practice and he was sayin that George Lucas has a team of people somewhere just listening to music for samples from his movies? I don't know if there is a whole team of people for just his sounds, but record companies have to have people listening for things they own right?

What is the process for this, companies checking for samples?

That sounds like a tedious job considering all of the sampled music out there.But they prob. only target the big sellers and radio jointz.

question about the whole GL sound thing, say you create from scratch like a r2d2 beep thing, sounds just like r2d2 but its not a sample, can they sue on that?

i think they can he has the paten on that sound , sounds rediculious but parris hilton has the paten on that sayin "it's hot" or "your hot" or something like that and anyone who uses it with out her permission can get sued, i seen her on dave lettermen and she told him that,

i couldnt beleive my ears what a stupid sayin and she made it some big sayin that people can get sued.

as for GL i would imagine the same thing, it's just a robot sound but because he's GL he can do that.

i may be wrong but thats something to look in to.

It would be interesting if he could sue, I mean if I come up with a noise through synthisis that mimacks beeps, i wonder how a lawsuit is possible, sinse its just a bunch of random beeps thats easy to recreate, i mean maybe if a pattern is the same maybe, then he can say its his beep progression, damn confusing

right on
the biggest problem was the total lack of story telling

those movie SHOWED you EVERYTHING
no suspense or nothing
no photography for that matter

they were like watching 7 hours of mock-umentry or seven hours of toy commercials or 7 hours of crap video game cut scenes

we should have a global movement to destroy all evidence of those three movies ever existing
give lucas a second chance as long as he hires people who are good (NOT HIM)
