Yeagh, I wanna press vinyl break-beat record.
I am missing this 4 breaks to do that shi@t.

yeah it sounds like a mixture of all types of breaks.
off the top of the dome i couldnt give you them it would take some time to diasect and listen to what it is... some one on here may be could recognize them.

Any help on this topic is very appreciated

maybe look into some of the drum crazy records or ape breaks there out there.

There's one break in the middle of that file that Dre used on "Deez Nuutz" and "The Day The N**gaz Took Over."

They don't even sound like original breaks to me. They sound like chopped & processed samples. It is three, possibly four, different drum kits but the overall dynamics & reverb for each seem identical. I think it is a demo for sample kits ...... very good sample kits.

They are loops; I discovered info on second beat yesterday (the one with the rims - xxplosive) it's - Carlos Bess. (DAMN!)

They're loops, but I think the reason why they sound chopped, is because each new loop starts on the backbeat (snare/rim) rather than the downbeat (kick.)

Also, they probably all went through the same compression/eq.

True. They got heavily compressed. The waves nearly look square shaped...

what a bunch of crap , go buy some vinyl ... short cuts only lead to crap cuts....

You cant beat Vinyl especially as you will end up with your own dynamic from whatever Pre-amp / turntable you sample through (i like the amp that phono insert gives you on some filters (like the akai mfc-42) cant beat passive dynamics!!!

with sample cd's you are stuck with a digital dynamic thats usually over compressed , llimited and for some reason even cleaned ....errrrr?

there is still vinyls out there that have fat-ass unused breaks (especially on mono recordings with the instruments on the other channel!!! move your Pan from left to right before sampling ... sometimes the one channel is clean!!!

well without coming round to yours with the vinyl what more can i say - go shopping ..... even if its just for re-issues!

Who said anything about buying sample CDs?
