Every time I turn my mpc off it loses the mixer setting.
I've tried to save "all seq and song" but the mixer still "resets" after power off.
Is there a way to save the mixer settings with all the fx routing and paning and all to a seq, song or program?

I've searched the forum for answers but without luck, which could very well mean that I'm totally missing something here... :?

I think the mixer settings are part of the program, not the sequence.
I could be wrong, but it's worth a shot.

is it me or does it suck when you save entire memory to a project file you have to type in the name,

now ive got a gig flash card i just save entire memory to autoload, so much easier to work with

I use to make separate folders for each and every beat, and I would just name the folder. When I would want to save the beat I would just use save entire memory for that folder. Since that beat is the only thing in that folder I didn't have to name sequences or projects at all, and I never lost anything, no files no settings, either.

Purging your unused samples before saving is a really good idea. Also it's pretty easy to delete the samples you don't want whenever it is convenient to do so. Just go into the folder and manually delete the samples if you got a bunch of extra ish in there. If you load up the program in the MPC and samples are missing there will just be a question mark there. It's no big deal. Everything will still work fine if those unwanted samples are missing. It's a lot easier to manage the files on your card like this on the PC though.

^^^cosign w/ u on that ONE^^^^^^^^^^^^^

different equals a different folder. For me every folder is a different beat which holds all the sequences, samples, and program info. Which as one one stated u don't have to change the name on your programs, sequences, etc. Plus everytime you make a change, and u want to save what you just did when you you go to save entire it just replaces the current information (new sequences, samples, programs,) it doesn't duplicate sounds.

Co-sign that too!

I use that replace same files. Works like a charm.
