Can I use this with a 3000?

I am selling a 2000 as is on ebay that is not functioning properly. I am selling all of the expansions but was wondering if the smpte card for the 2000 is compatible with the 3000, which is what I am getting next. Thanks.

The 2000 uses an ICS IO series SMPTE chip on an expansion board.

The 2000XL uses the same ICS IO series SMPTE chip without the expansion board.

The SMPTE card for a 2000 is not at all compatible with the 3000.

The SMPTE chip from a 2000 SMPTE expansion card is not compatible with a 3000.

The 3000 uses an OTARI IO series SMPTE chip.

So ... the answer is ... NO !

PS: Maybe you will get lucky and the SMPTE option will be installed in your 3000 already ?
