transfering between cards

I've done this before but i dont remember exactly how it happened.I want some sounds from the free sound card on my card that i actually use.Do i put the samples on the internal memory then tranfer to c.f. or save in a way that i'm not doing or computer magic?

I just put the ones I wanted in one of my programs. I only use like 4 of them. The trusty 808 is a must have

I would upload the sounds to my computer's hard drive and then transfer them to my primary compact flash card.

Do whatever works best!
