Aight ive been sampling from my dj setup, two shitty belt drives and a mixer. I just made enough money to get a 1200, seeing im goin to have my dj setup and mpc in different rooms, is there any difference in what a turntable would help sampling, or am i fine sampling with a shitty belt drive and adding the 1200 to my dj setup.

For sampling, the difference is not in the turntable itself, it's in the cartridge. If you buy a really high quality cartridge (not a DJ cartridge), your samples will sound.....well.....high quality.
Put the 1200 toward your DJ setup.

I agree with Itchyvinyl. Starting out I had a Technics SLBD1 with a pitch and all that mattered was keeping it grounded and having a quality cartridge and needle. The samples came out crisp.
