what difference does it make its the right stuff. i thought this was suppose to help newbies. i can see if he asked some dumb sh!t like ''how do i sample'' or ''how do i push play'' but its a common question. how many of you had problems hookin sh!t up at the beginning? i kno i did.

at the end of the day people have offered him help (video tutorial and links to threads)...

cables is the probably the best place to start, it'll help you get your head around the signal flow.

plug the power cable to the mains and the other end to the tap of your bath tub. sit in it, making sure your switched on at both ends.

when I started out I had a similar setup, ignant ol' me though, I just follwed the diagrams and instructions in the manuals that they included with the thousands of dollars worth of shiz I bought ..... what a waste of time that was....

Damn I dunno why some people in this thread are acting like he should know where all the connecters go BEFORE actually buying it.... not like you're gonna search 'how to connect an MPC and fantom' when he doesn't even have them.

The only thing this guy did wrong was not figure it out for himself when he got it.

I remember when i bought my first PC and midi equipment... before I left the store I asked the sales assistant "How do I connect midi cables" dude sat down and drew me a basic diagram and bam ! ...and since then all of my midi knowlege has come off websites and research (re-"SEARCH" hint hint) on forms ...not posts!

To buy equipment and not know how your gonna connect it is on one hand a bold step... and on the other plain dumb!
