record buzz

i want to know if i had my record player running thru a vs-1840 type digital work station would that help clear some of the static and hum i get when i sample into the mpc2000xl i have a tascam mixer and even with the record player grounded i still get a hum!!!!

i doubt it but its worth a try at this point. do you have a old turntable? do you have a dj mixer or just a regular board.

i have a regular record player and a tascam 414 portastudio i use it just to hear my keyboard work and whatever i do on the mpc2xl! i run my headphones out of it when the products done to get a idea what my beat will sound like till i drop it into my cousins pro-tool and audio cleaner lab!

you might need a grounding cable for your turntable and mixer
