Pad playback lengths?

Hi i cant seem to find this in the manual,
Im trying to set a sample to a pad, to only play back for the length the pad is pressed. in this case a long rhodes sample.
if anyone could shed some light it would be much apreaciated.

it's called note on.

press the pad that has the sample on it, then press mode and pad 7 (that's the program window) then scroll down to the sample then press the window button. scroll till you see note on then press the main button. that's it.
