Transfering floppies to zip on pc

Im trying to transfer a floppy onto a zip disk... but some sounds have the same name and when I paste them in a new folder my pc asks if I want to replace "so & so sound" with "so & so sound". If I click "yes" it replaces that sound, and i now have missing sounds from the program. If I click "no" it wont transfer the sound at all.

Is there any way around this without having to rename all the sounds? I searched and could not find anything. Any help will be appreciated.

you can't, try to load your floppy on the mpc, hook up the zip drive to the mpc then save on the zip.

i transfer floppies to zip all the time .load them on the comp to a floppies and transfer to the mpc and save on the zip never had any problems,except of course if the sound is not 16bit rate then the mpc wont read it . then you have to convert the file.

I just did the reverse for seqences. It always asked if I wanted to replace [name of sequence] created [date and time] with [same info]; both showed bytes. I replaced with the larger.

because you must have a file in there that has the same name so you need to learn to name the file different unless you are replacing the same file and you did something toit
