I was just working on some midi sequences for external modules and noticed that if I have no samples loaded into memory, when I go to save the sequence but accidentally hit "save sample" instead it crashes the machine and I lose my work.
Is this a known issue? Obviously I should have hit "save sequence" instead, but it shouldn't crash the machine.
I'm running 1.07, though I'm excited for the new one...

No biggie. It's only an issue when I make a mistake.
It's definitely a bug, cuz it's repeatable.
Is there a central location to report bugs to Akai?
Maybe I'll just wait and see if the new OS is the same.

Evil that happened to me when I change the midi assign of pads within the program....
for example I hear the pad when I press it, but when it records, th internal sequencer plays the pad corresponding to the new midi note, not the pad that I pressed....
I was shifting the midi notes to get the right bass notes (from a soft synth, Halion) midi'd up with my chops, this is a nice way to work IMO but the only workaround I could find was to resample through my mixxer...

reassign your midi notes so there are no stars if you didn't know that already. forgive me, it's way early in the morning for me.
