a new look to commemorate the new OS

had to do it...its going to be like a whole new machine anyway. cant even tell it was ever red. anyone thats interested, if you are going to try and spraypaint your mp sides, use Krylon Fusion paint followed by a clear coat. the Fusion line is specifically for plastics and worked really well for me. i couldnt scratch it if i wanted to. sorry if that was a repeat tip.

i actually had the case done by a friends mother. she is a very experienced fine artist. she does a lot of caligraphy and shit like that. we took a pic before we painted it and she pretty much duplicated the lettering. you cant tell the letters were painted. best of all, she didnt want money or anything. it was like a 'fun' project for her lol. ill try to get a closer pic tho.

yeah, i suggest painting the dial, and arrows, brings everything togethre very nicely. check out my topic a page back or two.

I got a question for you guys.. I posted it in here since alot of 1k paint jobs have been done lately and because of the OS drop.. But anyone can answer..

But since you guys got all of the features that you wanted via the OS update and the custom paint jobs then do these changes make using the 1k better? In other words, do you enjoy making music more after these changes..

This question is for anyone that has ever customized a peice of gear that had all of the functions that you all were happy with..
