But since you guys got all of the features that you wanted via the OS update and the custom paint jobs then do these changes make using the 1k better? In other words, do you enjoy making music more after these changes..

This question is for anyone that has ever customized a peice of gear that had all of the functions that you all were happy with..

better? hell no, better to look at when its off? yea.

its your mentality man, you either got it or dont

give me the tools, i'll do the jobs, give me better tools, i'll do it more efficenttly. either way, its getting done.

she used a stencil on some of the stuff but for the most part she free handed it. my next project....oooh its gonna take some work and some hook ups but i want to get a clear casing made for it. my stepdad is a welder and can hook me up with a metal one but CLEAR. that'd be hot. im happy with what i got for now tho. ill get a closer picture with detail when i get some new batteries. thanks guys.

no no no. sorry, that was meant to be two different ideas. i would like a clear plastic casing. i COULD probably get a metal case made but i dont think it would look very good.

personally i like the nice weight the MPC has being made out of metal. same as camera's etc. if they're fully made out of plastic they just dont feel very expensive.

a chrome mpc would look **** kick ass though. i may try and get my MPC chromed when im on holidays. i'll look into it (:

i also like the metal surface for inspiration. like if im doing a beat, it sounds nice, but i want to start a bit more basic, i'll just tap the metal during my recording instead of the hi-hat for instance, still has the same feel as if the hi-hat was there, but sounds good.

i would recommened just waiting untill they release the new black kit. i wouldn't paint the face, your asking for trouble then. unless of cours eyou have an artist that would take on the 'challenge' at no cost on your part.

Since your father is a welder, why dont you get him to make a case with the tilted screen  I swear, if i had the materials, I would make a sick case.
