mpc 2000 mute?

I was wondering if the mpc 2000 has a muting option like the xl.
It doesn't have the muting button however.

Anyone knows?

THe manual doesn't say anything about muting tracks but i guess you could always solo tracks to do the same thing.

You can simply switch tracks on/off by pressing tr on/off (F4 or something...).
if you go on the tr field in your display and then press open window it assigns all 16 Tracks to the pads. then you can mute each track by just hittin the pads.

Yeah that can work also or if your intent is to mix or record you can always use the mixer and just turn the volume down on certain tracks.
