What other terms are there for multimode

I have my fantom and mpc hooked up now through my mixer but the problem now is that the mpcs pads play the keyboard sounds.i need to put the fantom in multimode i think so that i could play and record the samples i have on my mpc along with the fantoms sounds.however i do not see multimode anywehre nor in the manual so are there any other terms for this

multi-timbral
