pad permanent assign possible?

Create a program with without sounds. change the assignments of the notes to the pads, for example My Pad A1 is set to note number 35, A2 to 36, and .........
save that program and load it in anytime u need it

read the section in the manual that explains switchin these assignments PROGRAM/MASTER

i must say i was incomplete in my questionin,
the reason why i wanted to have a normal "sequential" pad - note set was to use midi external gear as with a keyboard, now i just found out that when a track is set to midi and not to drum, pads behave in a sequential way so its ok

yeah, i don't remember it working like that either.notes sent via midi were always all over the place just as they were assigned to the internal samples. i do remember it being a nice way to come up with melodies, etc that i might not think of on a traditional keyboard layout.

but yeah, i think the default assignments on the MPCs are dumb as hell. why would you want your sounds all over the place? off to check mpc3000.com...

did i hear that its possible to hav a MIDI sequence from say Cubase and then "dump" or "bounce" it to the MPC?! If so how?
