Logic 5.5.0 and mpc 2000

I synced logic and my 2000 and its workin fine except one little weird thing.

If I have a sample on pad 1 when i record it triggers it again and again. Doesnt do it when logic plays, just when it records. Obviously a work around is not to have a sample on pad 1. But just wondered if anyone has had the same prob and knows why it does this.

Do you see the note being repeatedly triggered in the Transport? Or perhaps the note just held?

Yeh even if the sample/note isnt in a sequence pad1 still triggers again and again. I guess I'll just have to leave pad1 blank cos the syncing is fine. No latency or anything. I read here that some people have probs with notes just playin randomly when they sync but for me its just pad1.

Could be Logic too. That's an old version and your not getting any more updates for PC.

Sorted it out. Was the metronome on logic triggering it!
