you need to take the entire top off or just the front panel (by the CF card)?

i need to get to the stop button and pad bank buttons

as u fallow the instructions = unscrew the necessary screws

take bottom off

once the bottom comes off

pull the side panels forward then outward because they will need to come off

pull the panel where the memcard is OFF

then the top will come off

make sure you get all the screws!

do not pull on force anything unless if u want to ruin the machine

You don't have to take the bottom off to get the top off, it's better if you leave it on, less stuff to get lost and keeps the insides cleaner.

its sorted guys. they were never broke, the stop button was slightly slanted which you could see if you looked at it horizontally and the c bank doesnt press all that cleanly (get me). i tried bendin them into place but it didnt really work plus i could of ended up breakin em or something stupid - jus my luck. its ok though they still work
