You know those audio interfaces that you can buy for like a 100 bucks, like m-audio stuff.

If I buy one of those that has like midi interfaces and audio interfaces in it, will I need to buy soundcard too? ( i have a soundblaster live)

Like, is it pointless to have this audio interface if i still have a crappy soundcard?

Thanks

I believe the M-Audio card will replace your Sound Blaster Card. I am doing the same conversion, SB with Live! Drive to M-Audio Delta1010LT

Dude!!

a Audio Interface is a Soundcard!!, not to parade on your ignorance but please before you purchase anything do some research, some leg work and get everything in perspective first.

I would recommend that while you save your pennies for some quailty gear to read up on the card and see if it is right for you and your setup.
