notes recorded aren't notes recorded?

hey yall,
i was having a problem with my mpc 1000 last night and I was wondering if anyone has had similiar experiences or knows a fix.
I recorded a bunch of samples to a program, set up most of them to mute groups and made them mono, but when I recorded a sequence with this program the pad that plays is different then the pad i tapped when recorded.
maybe my system is corrupted or something.
lemme know if you've got an idea what the problem could be.

sounds like an issue with how your saving your samples

once something is recorded

you will need to save them and load them all
