yo whats up fam? Ive just finished a hr long mixed cd, the cd is one trk that is an hour long. I was hoping to get some info on how to divide the songs up on the cd, so people dont have to listen to the whole mix. im using the tascam 788, but couldnt figure out how insert trks on the final mix :x

1 track an hour long.

Maybe you can use track editing to make in/out points
for each peice (on the cd these will be track numbers).

Add each peice to your cd list to burn, making sure you have NO time in between tracks so you don't get a pause between tracks ya dig.

Remember to name them and place them in correct order on your cd burn list.

Burn as DAO.

Maybe u can do it like that.

I don't know your gear AT ALL but I just downloaded and went over your manual. That's the only I could see happening. I didn't see any type of cd markers/track numbers you could just throw into the mix like I'm guessing u wanna do. Maybe I missed that part.

U have a manual?

well this is what i do i record tha hole mix as one then pop it in to the comp, in CEP or wave lab and track it out there, than burn it to cd and make copy's
on CEP you can see the waves so you just go to where it mixes and place a track mark ,
i think you can do this with any sequencer software it works

i do it all the time , as the matter fact i got a mix on deck that i'm going to do this too.
