Can You Tune a Bank or a Group of samples, like a bank made from RECYCLE, on the MPC 2000 XL, I imported a bank. A loop it has 14 slices and I want to pitch them all down together instead of doing them one at a time.

nope.....btw, do you have a manual in front of you?....you should really try to dig in there being that your questions are not technical but are merely whats right in front of you....try using your machine and find these things for yourself....

If you're already using Recycle to chop your loop, why not pitch it all down there? You can pitch it all down there with the Pitch control and then export.

I would use a batch converter on the PC for batch converting and batch processing....

Which I just recently posted about one such batch converter. AutoTune from AnalogX is free. It can retune groups of samples to a particular note (either of a certain octave or to the nearest note in the current octave, all detected automatically by the program)

It can also convert a bunch of disparate samples to the same sample rate and bit depth. It's a kickass free program.
