Trouble shooting

Hi Im having problems with my zip drive working. I dont know if its the Mpc's scsi conection or if its the zip drive its self. is there a way to test the scsi conection in the mpc. I have the right cables and zipdrive but when i go to switch between floppy and the scsi conection. the screen says "wait......" and freezes.

Do you have the scsi drive on the correct scsi id. You can find the scsi id in the manual.

Also make sure it's connected correctly and that it's not parallel.
