Cleaning up audio

Does anyone know how to get great sound out of the mpc? Simple loops sound great but during complex sequences, it seems like with this machine the noise floor is too high. My samples sound good some I know I have to tech the audio a bit. Maybe I am doing some wrong? I want to get even crisper sound out of it. I never noticed it really until I got better monitors. Does anyone know how to eq or effect the mpc tracks to clean up tracks a bit, I know a noise gate will kill some of what I don't want before and after the samples, but what if I want a just an over all clean sound? It sounds dirty on bass heavy tracks, desireable for some tracks, but I want the drums for this track to sound clean before I tweat the sound. Someone please help!

The MPC series is very well known for AWESOME sound quality.

I think the answer you are looking for is in the mixing.
Do you have eight outs?

Try diving into your EB16 a little more, if you have one. Other than that, use a wave editor and/or multitrack program with effects to clear up your stuff.
