dont have a laptop or HD installed yet ? what im trying to do is develop a program for my sony psp that will be able to link to the mpc1k and transfer files from the psp memory to the mpc memory throught i thout of this because i took my mpc to my bro's house yesterday and i had no way to put diffrent samples on my card if any is intrested or has and programming skill holla at me

Spend less than $20 and save yourself the time and hassle of trying to figure out how to write home brew apps on a system that sony is specifically trying to make it impossible for you to run home brew apps on. I don't think the psp has usb host functionality anyway, my friend.

you are right but nothing is impossible im running a 1.5 os om my psp so i can use all the HB i want but the time is the thing that card cant help me for on the road stuff i might as well just break down and spend the lute on a laptop tho

ya they v1.5 os for sony psp

this is off topic but i been searching the forum for this question and have found so i must ask how did u get the 1.9xxxx os for 1k and is there any way to get it now or everyone has to wait for finalization...

Are you able to port those games from your psp to your mpc1k?

port video games to my mpc o hell no music is my life thats not even on my mind lol i was saying when i take my mp out that i dont have a lap top so i was basicaly going to start writing a progam that transfers the kits from my 1 gig to one of my flash cards on the mp just for extra space and i was doing some research today on the usb port on the psp and there are file transport programs already running on the 1.5 version. that being said this is possible but like homie in the other post said time is the issue
and that i dont have so like dude above me said its probably going no where on the real unless some one else would like to try this with me and they 4 trill wit it i was just throwing it out to see if 1 was intrested but HD and new os coming so it would kinda be worthless please mind me i posted at like 7 in the morning at work thinking about my mpc playing my psp and posted.....

i received this from a source that i have at akai. at this time, everyone else will have to wait. i can not distribute the OS that i have. for more information on why i can't, follow the link in my signature that says:"mpc1000 v2.0" but you would have to read the pages from the beginning. i've mentioned why and the reason
