i just got my mpc today after waiting for it for a month 
anyway, i haven't had much time to dig through the machine yet but what i did was load up a beat i was doing on the 1000 with the compact flash card..for some of the outputs, i had stereo outs and some of the tracks were through assignable outs 3 & 4.
on the 1000, the four assignable mix outs were loud as F*ck and you had to turn it WAY down in the mixer for it to reach the same volumes as the stereo outs...but when i loaded up the beat today, i could barely hear a thing at all!...
are the assignable outs on the 2500 softer in volume than the 1000 or did i just get a dud?
