Editting zones in prog edit,

I want to have different filter settings for every zone,, somehow it wont work even when i choose the different zones. How can i for instance have a stereo loop, and have different filter settings for left and right?????

Maybe theres' some feature/special way to do this on the 4000. But if I wanted to do this on my XL I would go back and record the sample again. Record the left side, then record the right side. Then adjust the filter settings for each copy of the sample as you want.

If the loop/sample doesn't have seperate instruments panned left or right on the original source, then you won't have to re-record the loop again (unless you want to for some reason), just make a copy of the sample and pan one far left and the other far right.

Actually scrap that first suggestion. Its not necessary. If you recorded the loop in stereo, just make a copy and pan them both left and right.
(You would only need to go back and record the left and right side of the original seperately if you recorded the sample in mono to start with, but wanted certain instruments filtered more than others etc.)

You can convert a stereo file to a mono file (trim screen, open window on the name of the file, convert, select stereo to mono).
Assign each to seperate pads (one left one right) then you are free to filter both seperately

Mohammed, your question is quite confusing, i think you are mixing up zones with something else
