I miss my mpc 3000.

Yeah, this is my 1st pointless post. Flame me if you'd like.

Plain and simple. I miss my MPC3000. Specifically the punch that it packs on whatever going in an out of it. I think I'll buy another one for Christmas and keep it next to my 60.

Kinda miss the all in one box creativity and 360sec mono samplin time too.

yeah i saw you makin that move and i knew youd feel regretful. ive used both and had em side by side and as long as i can afford it im keep my 3000.

For real from the 60 it would be to the 3k, just seems like the 60 on roids. Plus the wonder down under is doing cool things.

as i look for a rack sampler im thinking maybe i need to convert to the 3k too....i love my 60 and ive never used a 3k maybe ill love it even more?? i need a filter if i have to get a rack i will but the 3k is tempting..expensive but tempting..imma have to go back and relisten to the 3k/60/1200 comparison..

I feel you there. I've been thinking bout movin to the 4K cause of the extra features but I know soon as I do I will regret it.


There are to many great features on the 3k which make things so so simple............and you wont find that feel or punch anywhere else.

Change is good, so is growth.
Each person has to find the MPC that's right for them.
Could be a 60 might not be a 60, could be a 3k,2k,1k or 4k, I just believe you have to be intimate with multiple MPC's to make the choice not just one.
The more time you spend with various MPC's the more you will like and dislike about them.
Can't say I could see haveing a 60 and 3k, could do a 3k and SP, XL and 60 or 60 and SP.
But what do I know I'm bailing on the 60 and the XL.

Yeah, I have a 3000 and an SP1200 and every now and again I get tempted to pick up a 60 but I always think... what would I do with that AND the 3000? The MPC3000 really has everything: massive sample time, VGA-out, resonant filter, and huge 16-bit drums.. clean and powerful. Plus it can handle everything I throw at it sequence-wise.

I know the 60 is a really smooth machine usage-wise...especially compared to the SP, but I think the 3000 is the same with all the perks.

I like the 60 just as much as the 3000. I like the 3000 just as much as the 60. I love the SP more than the 3000, I love the 60 more than the SP. I just like them all which is why I'll be buying another 3k before the year is over. I use them all anyway, so you can't call me a gear whore

i miss my 60... when i have money ima cop a clean mk1 for keep sakes.

i wouldnt ever sell my 3000 unless i could afford to buy a mint one right after.

I miss my 60II. That was my favorite.


I want one of each MPC, I'm greedy, + I collect beat machines. I'm tryin' to cop one of everything

I guess I am the only one that doesn't misses his MPC 3000. I let it go just over a month ago.

I may buy another in the future..just to have as a conversation piece.
