anyone know where to get a "NEW" MPC 60...

ive never owned an mpc but for some reason im thinking from what ive heard the mpc 60 is the one i want and i dont want it to be used or have imprints on the pads from other producers bangin on em if anyone knows thanks alot if not ill just go with a new 1000/2000/3000

if you have cash up the ass look at analogjapan.com - they often have "mint" models for nuff cheese - let us know if they rape you on a deal

if you're broke like the rest of us set up your ebay watch and stalk the auctions for a year until you come up

if that all sounds like too much aggro for a 20 year old giant calculator then cop an all black v2 1k and stfu

I owned that 60 before. Dude sent it to me as a "upgraded" 60 with OS and mem but once i got it it didnt have either. The gain button was also pushed in and a few other problems so i sent it back to him. When i booted it up it said "ASQ 10 v. 2.12" or something similar... Didnt even have 60 OS on it. The **** that shit!

I can confirm what jmt said. The mpc is at guitar center in Cherry Hill NJ, I checked it out and there is all sorts of things wrong. It does power up as ASQ 10 so you can’t sample or load samples.

Yup thats it. Funny thing is dude knows its shit and hes still tryin to hustle it as a "Very good condition" unit. Notice the "As is"...

I'd watch out for that analog japan...boy over at the vintage synth forums bought a 'mint' korg MS20 from them and when he got it it was all blistered and covered in rust...pics looked nasty!

Got a 60 mk2 and a 3000 LE from them last week. Man their shit is cool. Like new as promised, a bit on the pricey side but I had the cheeze so all is cool. Looks like the japs don't bang too hard on their pads if you see whatta mean ha ha
