Hi guys,

i have real big problem. I recorded a great sample and have changed it´s parameters (Tune and velo pitch ) before i trimmed it in my mpc 2000xl.

The problem is, when i go to the trim screen, i hear the sample in original,
not with it´s new parameters.

I want to trim the sample with that you can hear it with it´s new parameters.

Sorry , my english is not so good, i hope u can understand me.

thanks

Make a copy then sample , then make changes to the copy...

In your case, mAke sure the sound ur auditioning is the sound u jus made the edits too

That is the way it is supposed to be. The TRIM screen edits the audio data. You mentioned velo/tune, which are program parameters and heard only in the context of the PROGRAM, not sample editing.

Note that there are two places to TUNE. One in the TRIM to modify the sample itself, and the other in the Program edit, to modify the tune for that same sample when triggered by the pad.
