I can imagine that quiklok thing scooting away from you as you try to bash the pads..... :D

I usually put my mpc on my lap and chill on the sofa or lazy boy. I don't think i've ever used it sitting on a table, besides at shows and when sampling.

It has locking casters, so that wouldn't be a problem.

I dont need it either. I'd rather build a small angled platform out of scrap wood to place underneath my MPC.

it doesn't adjust small enough to fit the 1000 safely...i tried it at GC...i emailed quiklok about possibly making a model that could accomodate the 1000 but they haven't got back to me yet...if enough peeps email they might do something...or they might not

word, maybe i've seen something similar then, because i've seen about 5 pictures of, some from this forum of people using the 1k with a stand that looks just like that.

with a 1000?

maybe i tried with the wrong quiklok model b/c when i tried it it didn't fit well....it didn't fit snug the way the other MPCs do b/c i coudln't decrease the width enough...i've been thinking about copping one anyway and trying to mod it...

i would like to see how peeps are using this with their 1000s b/c i would definitely cop one if i could get it to work safely (preferably without using bungee cords)
