How do u make a CD-ROM disk for the MPC 2000? I a SCSI external drive hooked up to my MPC 2000. The disk that came with it works but when i try to make 1 myself the MPC doesn't recognise the disk. Help me out!!!

There is a special akai format/image burned onto that cd, you don't have the ability to recreate it, that's why it doesn't work for you.

Only if you use the headphone outs and not the actual scsi connection.

"Try using the MPC editor program to create sounds to go on the disk."

Even though I would like that recommendation, this does work for creating MPC2000 CD's. One needs to use the "creating Akai CD's" method. I do not know the link but it is at midicase.com/akai

"Only if you use the headphone outs and not the actual scsi connection."

I think he was talking about loading sounds.
