Iomega zip 250

I'm a long time reader of the forums, but this is my first post. Please rise above the temptation to ignore the new guy and help me out! My 60II w/ v.3.10 will not recognize my zip 250. I've tried everything under the sun, but nothing seems to work, I still get the error screen. My a#s may be dumb, but I sure ain't no dumb a@s, meaning all of the connections are correct, there is a zip disk in the drive, etc etc. Does anyone have the same set up, can someone please help me before I go crazy.

Is the ZIp formatted, Is the termination switch in/on the correct position? Is the cable connected solidly?

yeah, connections are solid, etc. The only thing I'm unsure about is the termination process on the 250; there is no dedicated termination switch on the back of the drive, is it inside it or some $#)t? I'm hoping someone with the same drive can describe this process a little more in detail. I've searched the web for further instructions on the zip250 to no avail, so if ya'll can point me in the right direction I'll truely appreciate it.

Could it be a parallel drive perhaps? They don't work with MPC's.

Well that makes it easy. SOB, I have a #$%&%ng parallel port drive.
