New OS Date

Ofcourse it comes down to the cook and not the kitchen. Does that mean the cook can't make it easy on himself by simplifying certain actions that he has to go through before he can start cooking?

Basically, would you go to the MPC2K, 3K, 4K subforums and tell them they're all idiots for buying such an expensive machine because a true "artiste" doesn't need all the fancy shit?

I can totally see the man's point up there, he's written that long post to explain why people like himself cant wait for the new OS, and he's damn right.
You can't tell me that the great producers of 'old days' wouldn't use new technology that would make their lives easier and expand their posibilities.

you know what i have read the last 3 pages of this thread and i feel sick to my stomach iam in the US millitary and have been to many countrys including
australia and i hate to be the ugly american when i visit these places but

I totally agree with the above comment, can't stand all these "Its not the what you got its how you use it posts". I agree that statements like these hold some truth, alot infact, but cant a man be exited about a new OS droppin, especially as it virtually transforms the machine???

Alot of cats won't have programs like Recycle, or have a Daw that can time stretch so I can totally see why some peep's are exited, let them be man!!!!

What annoys me more is posts like;

I hardly post on this forum anymore (although I would like too) because threads these days seem to just turn into a row after a few legit / constructive posts. Can't we just get back on topic and start talkin about the MPC and Music???

Where did you see me refer to crying and begging posts being legit??? I was talking in the general sense, i.e posts these days just seem to go off on a tangent (like is happening now) and everything but music seems to be discussed.

In all honesty I can tolerate peep's saying "wheres the OS, wheres the OS" as to be fair this thread is cunningly titled "New OS date" and that sort of comment is to be expected.

If you find that frustrating then simply go post in another thread as what I find hard to tolerate and keep my mouth closed with is pointless banter telling people to "shut the f*** up and make some beats"!!! Just simply no need for it in mine and I am sure many other peoples view.

Let me ask you a question. How exited were you when you first got your MPC (if you have one)??? I was pretty exited and for alot of peeps this OS feels like gettin a whole new MPC. Cant really blam them for showing a bit of exitement can you???
