Aight!!! I've been around the site for a minute, but haven't posted s%#@. Being alittle info whore and soaking up all I can get....Anyway, I don't know if most of you figured this out or not, so before I get flamed let me just say that I didn't know that it was possible to do this with the 1000 so save the wise cracks. So, I was working on a beat today, and I decided to sample some shit from my iPod. So, I went to the Record screen or whatever and not thinking hit the record+play button and it started. So, the little light bulb in my head went off. I was like if I can press rec+play, I should definately be able to press just play. And that worked also. So, I plugged my microKorg into the Record in, and played a couple of melodys over the current beat that I had up and saved them to a pad.....I don't know I thought it was cool others might have already figured that out!! Aight!!!

no, it's not like direct recording. he just sampled from the ipod, then put it to a pad. direct recording records directly to a track(not sample to a pad)

No, it's not like the 2500 I don't know. But I did plug my korg in and it worked. So........... simple premise but cool that it works.

well let hope that it come with the 2.0,because this will be a big plus for me,save a alot money on not buying keyboard, because with reason3.0and garbarge band 2.0 i can drop mad sound on top of beats,by using direct record :D
