sorry for my ignorance... can someone tell me what this is? Are the sounds good? and how many are in there. I am looking for some 808 and deep sub sounds... can you create bassline on this machine... and can it midi up to the mpc 4000??

thanks in advance. I did a search and read what I could. Just want to know if it is a good unit.

It's a good unit, BUT (there's always a but) if you learn more about your 4k, you won't need that MP7 at all. The 4k is more than capable of doing what the MP7 can do and more. I would save my money if I were you.

I got an MP-7 and 2000xl, so far its great. I just got some additional roms also, after i get used to PT ima post some beats i made on the mp-7. But check out the sound demo on emu website, and check it out at your local retailer, thats the only way u can tell if the sounds are wat u want. hope this helps....

The mp-7 has great synth/bass sounds, and the melody creation comes quite easily. The unit doesnt even cost that much!
