I don't chop like that. But I didn't see anything from with the way he was doing it. Nice video though! Good to see he's from maryland. (I was born there and its like my second home now, cause all my family's up there)

His Drums Hit Hard, The Hi-Hat Swing is bananas. Snare are really cracky! - Ordered his album the 1st day i heard his snippets, its a Phat album!!

I think a lot of producer sample that way. They just dont know the shift+slider trick...
