Playing 2 live synth sequences at the same time

hey everyone. i just tried searching for 15 mins and didnt come up with what i'm looking for.

ok, i have an mpc2000xl, a roland juno 106 synth and yestrday i picked up an access virus c desktop (no keys).

so here is my question. i'm controlling the virus with the juno and i write a sequence. then i switched the cables and made the mpc midi out go into the virus midi in. it plays it perfectly without the juno being on. thats good. but, now i want to record a 2nd sequence with the juno. i know the mpc has 2 midi outs, but i cant get 2 synths to program for some reason.

anyone? hope i explained it well

^ i know i can just resample one of them...but i want to tweak both synths live and have them both playing different patterns at the same time. the mpc can do that ya?

Try putting each sequence on a different track.
Assign each track to a different midi channel number.
Make sure each of your 2 synths are recieving midi on the appropriate midi channel number.
