That is not totally correct. OS1.2 will only allow you to format up to 2Gig cards. That is to ensure users will not have problems mounting the cards in Windows/Macs.
You can use larger drives, but you have to just format them under 1.14, but you can continue to use 1.2 after that.
In case people cannot figure this out, the MPC does not care whether drives are Zip,Syquest, Hard drives, Jazz, CF, SM, PC Card, ATAPI, or SCSI. The MPC treats them all the same.
