R u trying to use SCSI/Internal Jaz with MPC? You didn't say what disk/cdrom you are using to load. You didn't say what MPC. You gotta be more specific homie..

right..... Sorry about that... I have just one Jaz drive so I use it to save all my beats on my mpc 2000xl. I just bought a scsi card for my computer. It works fine. But if I copy my sample libary from my pc(windows 2000) to the jaz disk the mpc cant read the disk if I reconnect the drive to the mpc. Is there any Programm for that????I mean I couold do it via dos but that would take ages to create all the folders and stuff....

Cheeeeeeers....

DOS may actually be faster than Windows, if you can manage to get the disk formatting to work between machines. No graphics going on to display progress!! Hehe.

Use xcopy instead of copy, to copy all directories, subdirectories and files in one move. Organize the tree within Windows so it's nice and graphically simple.

Using Win2000 or XP to format removable drives usually makes it so that the disks cannot be read by the MPC. If you can find a Win9x to format the disk, then both the MPC and Win2000 can read and write on that format.

If Iomega has a utility to format Jazz drives, you might be able to use that. They usually format in an old DOS format that both machines can read.
