I have an MPC2000, but i think the floppy is busted cause when i put the startup disk in it says DISK READ ERROR, can i put the startup file on ZIP and connect it, or does it have to be loaded by floppy thanks alot

try downloading another os copy off the web maybe the file is corrupt and the mpc can't read it...I downloaded the newest os off www.forat.com

Ive tried this and it doesnt work my drive is busted can i do it from ZIP

yes you can from the zip...you can buy a replacement floppy drive from VST

so i can definatly just take the newest OS put it onto zip disk and connect that to a mpc2000 and it will start up like normal? so basically just buy the zip and forget that the floppy is broken?
