Just my opinion, I use Auto-Tune but not extensively. Is there another product out that is just as good? I don't care for the results or feel like spending infinite amounts of time just to be satisfied with a plugin. I have read where some LOVE it <-- took a lot of time into it. Others didn't, what are other alternatives? Or is this the best on the market for pitch correction?

You'll get the best result just by training your ears to find out the correct pitch.
I have used pitch rights and autotunes but then I just quit.
Now I can say that my basslines rocks alot better than back in the days, and all I did was learning to hear the right pitch.
Take your time. peace

You wanna check out my basslines?

If you work with even the best out their you will find they have off days too. But pitch correction can be creative if you have an imagination. You are deffinatly a novice by your remark... Don't worry that can be cured.

Thanks penfold and maxlifo.
Maxlifo - mostly I use buzzroom BB303i for my basslines.
It's a free bass synth. Get i here! There's a old vst plugins pack which includes BB303i.
There's a free compressor too.

Are you guys talking about using pitch correction for samples? I've used it for vocals and it works great. I never thought of tuning samples with it.

Melodyne is very good.

yeah when they go off we simply re-track it and if they can't hit it then we go a different route.
