For anybody who chooses to format disks on the MPC, I have a much faster method than formatting...If you enter the load/save/format/ screen, instead of formatting a disk, highlight the sound name, and push OPEN WINDOW. Now, it should open a folder that shows all the sounds that are on the disk. Select the ones you want to erase and push delete. It takes about 1/8 of the time formatting does, and it does the same thing...I hope this will help some people....I'm out...

that seems like it would waste more time doing each sound individually then letting the mpc do it for you. you can easily have over 100 different sounds on a zip disk.

if U put the .ALL files and APS files into an exclusive folder for the beat you made. U just highlight the folder and delete it and the files in the folder will be erased aswell.
