simply load what you want switch zips and hit save. What kind of save depends on you. Wav. file and snd file format are both supported by the MPC 2000Xl. Wav. just makes it more universal in terms transfering back and forth with computers. Once it's in your computer you could always send it back into your MPC either as a WAV or SND. file pending on your codecs and converter software. Oh yeah one more thing if you're buying your MPC with the zip drive already installed you'll be getting a 100mb zip drive. Make sure that if you do order some zip kits that you get 100mb zips as 250mb and 750mb zips are non compatible with that drive.

Dump/Save the contents of the disk(s) into a folder on your PC. Its that simple...Then if you dont trust Hard Drives, make a CD-R copy of the folder then lock that under your stairs.
That should do the trick

ahaha mike

suddenly it seems knowing the most basic fundamentals of MPC usage is "knowing a lot?"

lol

the short anser fot this guy is "you can save in either format, but by the wav versions as you have a computer, just to save a little time"

now why you would be spending such an amount of money on sample packs is beyond me. go support the culture and buy some records, or ANY of the MILLIONS of ways to build your own sample libraries.

100 bucks? in USA currency? are you insane?
