monitor field in sample mode..

Is there anything im missing bout this feature...ive got a snare assigned to a program and changed the amp envelope a bit..but when i go into sample mode to resample it using the eq i hear the sample as it was before i changed the envelope..am i doing something rong??

I belive in order top apply effects during sampling your gonnaq have to press f4 when in sample mode....than turn the jog wheel to you get to insert effects ..... pick effect and tweak upto four i believe...

Go to the sample monitor window and change it to program or mulit.

Yo haze thanx for the reply..i changed the monitor field to program in the sample trim page and i still when i hit the pad i hear the sample as it was before the changes i made in the program edit pages??anything im doin rong??

Ok it works when i have the drum in a sequence..if i change it to program it will play it as it is in the program but is there any way i can hear the sample the way it is used in the program without having to us it ina sequence...the ref manual says in ther monitor field part

Monitor field
Selects what will happen when a MIDI note is received in Sample mode.
SAMPLE................The selected sample will be played.
PROGRAM............The program selected in Program mode will be played. This lets you
hear the sample in the state in which it is used by the program, but
the sample you are editing must be used by a program.
MULTI ...................The multi selected in Multi mode will be played. As with PROGRAM,
the sample you are editing must be used by the selected
multi.

is pressin a pad not like receiving a midi note??anyway of fixing this..??
