Quantise "glitch" ??

I'm been experiencing some sort of quantise problem. When I record a piano or guitar track (normally with the quantise off), when I save and reload the tracks later, my piano or guitar quantise is off. If I've played arpeggios I can hear notes "hitting" as though I played them with the quantise on instead of off. Can someone help me out? I've never had this problem before and I'm not doing anything different.
