I was wondering, is it best to use a zip drive with it? I already have a scsi 250 mb that's hooked up to my mpc2000, would it be possible to utilize that or would i need to buy a new one?? Thanks in advance!!

the zip 250 is fast but it might take multiple ones to save a sone you might want to get a plexter cd burner for yours like I did. I brought one for my 880 and it also works for my MPC but I can only read of course... I have since upgraded to the 1880 and I still use it.

look on ebay a lot of guys there sell clones of the roland burner... they are good for data backup... yeah... ohh and you can only back up at 4x no matter what burner you buy.

Good luck!!!!

no you don't just need it yet... i would say invest in a good sized hard drive... and use the 250 you already got to make back ups. Just remember that you need to optimize ( but only after you got everything you want the right way with your tracks). Optimizing will delete all of your undos... making your back up file smaller. If not you will waste a lot of zip disk....

You sound like you are already set.

good luck !!!
