What's up ya'll. I just purchased myself a turntable so I start diggin in the crates. I was wondering if ya'll had some tips for me when I'm digging. I went today and copped a couple, nothing major. What should I look for when I'm diggin. I'm a hip hop producer. Thanks

As to what you should look for: you can really use anything. Funk and soul will always give you nice samples, though some 'll say the're played out.

The more original your samples, the more original your beats can be.
